Volunteer

Because our rescue is entirely foster-based, we do not currently have a need for volunteers to clean cages or care for rabbits. However, if you are looking to volunteer at our larger events, please fill out our volunteer application and send to us via email and watch for event listings in our newsletter and on our social media pages.

Fundraising

We normally host several fundraising events each year. Most are in person, but a good number of them are also virtual, especially in light of recent Covid restrictions. We’d love your help setting up and staffing these events, as well as any ideas to contribute in other ways.

Transporting Bunnies

Each week, several of our bunnies make their way to Radnor Veterinary Hospital for surgeries and appointments. We’d love help getting them to and from these appointments if it’s convenient for you. The address of the vet is 107 N. Aberdeen Ave, Wayne PA 19115. The home drop off addresses vary with each animal.

Fostering

Fostering is always our biggest and most important need. If you feel that you’re able to temporarily open your home to a bunny in need, we will send you a foster application along with the fostering guidelines. If it looks like something that could work for you, we encourage you to submit this separate application and we will hop along with the process of reviewing and setting you up if it’s a good fit!

Outreach Events

We like to host or attend a few outreach events each year. These can be anything from us setting up a table with info and tee shirts at a pet store, to our participation in larger organized animal welfare events. We usually have a table with information and some items for sale, and we require some volunteers to man the table and spread the word about proper rabbit care and our rescue in general. Since these opportunities are so varied, we will email our volunteers about the unique needs of each one.

Cleaning, Feeding & Bunny Care

We recently opened our own rescue facility! We need daily help with cleaning, feeding, and caring for the rabbits housed there. We provide all supplies and instructions. If you have the time and would like to help, we’d be very appreciative! If you’re interested in attending a training session to become a volunteer at our adoption center, please let us know. Please also let us know if you have children under the age of 18 who will be planning to accompany you to volunteer in this capacity. We’re located in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
